I would love to see some mainstream cpu's from Intel with unlocked multiplier and higher core/ghz than they offer now by ditching the igp. I don't think there are too many overclock enthusiasts that don't use a discreet video card and need an igp. Something like 4700k with 6 cores for example and no HT/IGP, or a 4+ghz clock and no IGP.
How getting rid of the IGP make the CPU faster?

I'd like to see Intel finally push the CPU count. Architecture-wise they're doing pretty OK. |
