What about Starfox? Adventures was sub-par for a Starfox game, Assault was better but still not as good as Starfox 64 imho. My parents were hoping for a new Battletanks game but the company (3DO) that made it apparently went bust.
Assault? EW. It doesn't feel right. 3/4ths of the game is on the ground with bad controls. And when it's finally in the air? The arwing moves with the responsiveness of a hippo, and the game gets rid of all kinds of fun little things, like keeping Hyper Lasers and bombs between missions. Assault is a horrific Starfox game. Adventures, on the other hand, is not a Starfox game, let's make that clear. It's more or less a Zelda clone, that was then rebadged with Starfox. But on those rare times it is in the cockpit, wow, THAT is Starfox. It's like Starfox 64 refined. It's GREAT. Personally, I much preferred Adventures over Assault.

I liked Starfox Adventures even though it hardly fits into the Starfox series. It is sort of like Super Paper Mario to me. I liked Super Paper Mario as a stand alone title, but it really doesn't fit into the Paper Mario series.

Speaking of Paper Mario, the new Paper Mario game comes out next week. I've totally ignored all the press about it, but I'm sure I'll like it. I'm getting Halo 4 tomorrow as well. Seems to be getting some pretty solid scores so far, though it's not like I look at that when deciding to get the game. I like the franchise, and I want to know what happens next. Plus I like killing things in space, what can I say.

I'm pretty excited about Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It looks pretty good.
It only comes out a week before the Wii U too, so I'll have some problems doing my homework in late November.

Oh yeah, the WiiU comes out soon doesn't it? I keep forgetting since I'm not gonna buy it until sometime next year. I'm more so waiting for games that I want to play rather than hoping for a mythical price drop (price isn't even an issue since I started working anyway). Should be fun watching how the first few months develop though.
