Quote:Assault? EW. It doesn't feel right. 3/4ths of the game is on the ground with bad controls. And when it's finally in the air? The arwing moves with the responsiveness of a hippo, and the game gets rid of all kinds of fun little things, like keeping Hyper Lasers and bombs between missions. Assault is a horrific Starfox game. Adventures, on the other hand, is not a Starfox game, let's make that clear. It's more or less a typical rareware game, that was then rebadged with Starfox. But on those rare times it is in the cockpit, wow, THAT is Starfox. It's like Starfox 64 refined. It's GREAT. Personally, I much preferred Adventures over Assault.
Fixed that for you. It was developed by Rareware (it was their only GC game in fact.....before microsoft bought them) and plays similarly to their N64 games.
