I am also having the odd issue with health/energy numbers not showing up. Particularly the number "9" I think, but that may just be width-related. At one point I was damaged and a 5 showed in the ones place, but I don't know if it was supposed to be 95 or 85 or what. Getting health made the numbers disappear again. I can confirm that the issue does *not* occur with custom textures disabled. It has also been an issue since as early as 5/14/2020 as that's the first time I downloaded the full Trilogy pack. I re-downloaded the full pack again today, 5/26/2020, same results. MP2 and MP3 folders were NOT in my dolphin user\load\textures\r3m folder. I did a bit more testing - I re-added the MP2 folder, re-added the MP3 folder and removed MP2, kept everything all in the r3m folder - no use. It doesn't seem to be a "common" texture.
I DID notice something though... the texture "tex1_32x40_e3cfb7a4cb2e46bc_4871a1a359b60319_8.dds" is different from the others of the same font/number size. The others all have two digits (3&4, 5&6, 7&8) and are somewhat left-aligned, but that texture has four numbers (0, 1, 2, and 9) and a couple of dots, and isn't. Could there be a texture missing that's supposed to be this one split into two?
Other info: Using PrimeHack version 1.0.0 (5.0-10966) on Windows 10 Pro x64. Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB DDR4, Nvidia RTX 2070 Super, loading from SSD. Tried with and without enabling "Compile Shaders Before Starting," same result.
I hope this info helps!
Edit: Oh, and I ended up getting the game to work after all. I guess it was a setting I had wrong, but once I used all the "correct" settings from the wiki page (after clearing my dolphin settings completely) it just started working miraculously.
