Is there a guide on replacing Textures, I would love to replace Sonic Adventure DX textures

Replacing textures is easy. You need to run the game while Dump Textures is checked. Then you just replace the textures and move them to the Load folder, and check Load Custom Textures. The hardest part is dumping all of the textures, since it means you have to spend time playing through the game. Also, the new textures should be the same size/aspect ratio as the old textures.

I will try that, i wants to replace the ugly Sonic Adventure DX Textures with the original textures from the Dreamcast Version
I extracted the Textures from the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure and put them in DX.

Quote:paint.net!!1! I'm sceptical as to its usefulness, but I'll give it a shot. Well it installs and looks like Photoshop 6 (not cs6, though) so it may be useful.

You could also try Gimp it has better plugins for Texturing, I used it when i used to make textures for my quake 3/ET maps Some Texture may need to be seamless, this plugin is good for that http://www.gimp.org/ http://registry.gimp.org/taxonomy/term/107 04-05-2012, 08:28 PM
I've high-res'ed the letter A, and I can say that there is a noticeable improvement.

B is now complete. Only 24 more letters, plus the lower case ones, plus symbols, numbers, letters with accents, letters from other alphabets (such as Greek and Japanese), the numbers in the more complicated font, and then all the letters which are also saved in their own file.
