Only in Hyrule Field is the lowest FPS ~6.5 max(don't use framelimiter it will go below ~6FPS). In Kakariko Village ~19FPS & and the forest is ~13FPS. nah no difference to me in fps, maybe an half frame and the image is then too blurry even with antialiasing. native is like 640x480res. I use 1280x1024. I have a very strange frame rate issue.
When I was chasing after Talo for the first time, I pass by this cave the first made you use the lantern to light it up. My first time into it, the game ran at a very smooth frame rate. The minute I got to the foggy area, the frame rate dropped. The strange thing is that if I go back into the cave, the frame rate is just as bad. The same is true for Hyrule Field. At first, it was running at a very respectable 22 fps, but now, it's running at 11 fps. I'm using the version that's posted in the front page on this site. I forget what version is it. 06-29-2009, 06:23 AM
Mine crashes every time it clears code cache. Is there a way around this?
I have the PAL version. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4400 @ 2.00GHz 1 GB of RAM 06-29-2009, 07:13 PM
hyrule field still slows down to 4fps And the 'disable efb with E' hack has been taken out - which was the only thing that helped the speed.
disable efb is now on "5" if you enabled "osd-hotkeys" in opengl(gpu) config
@ guyboy : start with unlimited code cache in debug mode. -> create shortcut and add -"d" to path 06-30-2009, 02:13 AM

I know I'm a total newbie, but the screen is just black when I start in debug mode... EDIT: Found out now... you have to press play in the dolphin debugger *duh* EDIT2: Do you mean the option unlimited JIT cache? Or is there unlimited cache by default? Also do I have to use the dolphinit.exe for this?? Uh ok it works now.... Thanks! 06-30-2009, 08:44 PM
ok pressing 5 for efb off does work thanks . But now no matter which option is being used it blocks off a quarter of the viewable screen. Oh well at least it's faster.
