Oh one option in DSP disable backround music sucks it like costs 10 fps: 30 to 19 in front of your(Link's) Tree House! Here are some picks from me playing the game. Only in Hyrule Field is the lowest FPS ~6.5 max(don't use framelimiter it will go below ~6FPS). In Kakariko Village ~19FPS & and the forest is ~13FPS.FPS is now 2x more than before SVN3547. Speed is still normal.

May is suggest (as it has worked for me) that you switch to native mode for twilight princess as it might give you 2-3 fps boost. I have a core 2 duo t9300 2.5ghz cpu and a geforce 8800gts and this game runs faster in native res for some reason. For example kakariko village is 19-22fps in 1400x900 and 23-25 fps in native. 25fps is very playable. I have not tried Hyrule field yet.
Unbelievable, but hyrule field runs at a stable 28-30 fps for me. The forest by the way is still 13-15.
By the way, are you sure 30 fps is the 100% for the game? Because it seems a bit too fast for me, like it would be 110-120%. 06-24-2009, 04:29 PM
or 25 if you have PAl version startet with 50hz on first screen
they made if this way, so people from europe dont need a monster machine to emulate it Quote:Unbelievable, but hyrule field runs at a stable 28-30 fps for me really unbelievable what PC and setting do you got ? I entered hyrule field after the laggy(max 15fps) forest and I read already that hyrule field is slow for some people but then I got 30 fps, even after roaming for like half an hour in hyrule field killing enemies. However, kakariko village is still just around 15-18 fps. Maybe I'll try native resolution. 06-24-2009, 07:19 PM
i got a faster cpu and gpu and have worse fps even with efb off and native res.... please tell me which rev you use and 32/64/jitil
Palanai - wait till you come out of the kakariko village section and see what your hyrule field framerates are like. Mine were also very good till that point then plummeted right down. If you're still reporting fullspeed after that, let me know please, I'd like to see what you've done right.

I also remember that before going to Hyrule Field from Kakariko Village frames were good. They shoulda make some hack or cheat in the game that it wouldn't load all of the Hyrule Field only the part of Map what is highlighted. |
