Awesome, thank you so much for your answers. I only started using Dolphin when I joined this forum, so I still have a lot to learn.

I just ran TP through Faron Woods on 5.0-rc-25 and have 0 map issues and 0 lag from the purple fog. However... and please correct me if this was not the best thing to do, there was a LOT of bass in the audio, to the point of clipping. So I unchecked HLE in the game's properties (so now it's running on LLE) and the audio sounds much more balanced. But given the overall consensus I've read stating HLE > LLE, would there be any benefit to changing the audio backend instead?
Another issue I had last night is what I'm assuming to be the Ghost Blooming, as in the wiki, so I put the AR code in but haven't had a point to notice if it was remedied or not. 09-05-2015, 06:10 AM
The main advantage of HLE is its performance. Unfortunately, HLE is inaccurate for this game in 5.0 and older - volumes being wrong is a typical problem. This has been fixed in the recent development builds.

So at this point I'm getting best results running OpenGL and LLE audio. I tried a newer development version to see the HLE audio, but with the required C++ update, the game did not run well at all... for... whatever reason.
One small issue I'm having now is that the map of Faron Woods is missing some detail. The big purple area is supposed to have some extra dots, representing trees and such. It was appearing for a while and then just decided to stop. 09-06-2015, 04:28 PM

I knew of discussion but didn't know if a version was finalized. It's graphical lag, not audio. I can tell it's there because while playing through the game, roll inputs are sometimes dropped. It's known to most TP speedrunners that a few of the game areas have some lag on console (Faron Woods has some, Mist-filled Faron Woods has a fair bit, the waterfall in Zora's Domain has quite a bit, and the pieces of Hyrule Field in the Lanayru Province (North/West) have some lag to them as well) and in some cases we do camera movements to reduce this lag (C-Down to enter the far out view and looking more at the ground instead of out reduces the lag in Hyrule Field, for instance, while the lag from the waterfall in Zora's Domain is reduced by just not looking at the waterfall) while in others we do alternative routes to what a TAS would do because it's faster RTA even though it's technically slower by IGT (RTA= Real Time Attack, IGT= In-Game Time) (Faron Woods, pre-mist; going from the small key chest to the gate. TAS goes under the arch, while GC goes around it because it reduces lag frames- even though it's slower IGT, it's faster RTA. And it has been timed.) Also note that the graphical lag is specifically for the GC release, and is very minor (maybe 1-2 frames/second as an absolute mote; it's a guesstimate, although I have no idea what it actually is). The Wii release does not have this lag. 09-08-2015, 06:46 AM
Can you tell me the optimal settings for twilight princess with my specs? I hope I can run at max.

One thing is use DSP HLE, it's faster than LLE. (If there's no difference in performance, just use LLE.) If you experience lag in places like Hyrule Field, turn on the Hyrule Field Speed Hack by right clicking the game in the game list, clicking properties, going to the patches tab, and check the box next to it.

I don't know much about AMD or win10 but your CPU is the next step up from mine and I haven't had any issues with Hyrule Field. I do run OpenGL and LLE audio, though.
