You could try changing stuff around; I don't exactly see why you'd be crashing in D3D. It works on all the recent driver versions for me. It's likely something unrelated.

I really like this game and I haven't played through it in years. Disable Dual Core >>> Start the game >>> Load your save >>> Close Dolphin >>> Enable Dual Core and play. Hello, how do I optimize my setting so that I can run the game smoother? (Only got around 8-10 FPS on Faron Woods), and I'm using Dolphin 4.0 currently, will using 4.0.2 help? (other than Hyrule Field)

Use the latest dev builds and enable the Twilight Princess Patch in the patches menu of the game properties.

You can't expect too much with that CPU though. Even with the patch

Well I don't expect too much from my CPU, I just want to play it a little bit more smoother. Guess I'll try the patch, hope it'll help.
EDIT: It helps a little bit, getting around 12-13 FPS now in Faron Woods, any suggested settings that could improve it? I don't mind playing it as minimal as possible 07-03-2014, 02:20 AM
Will be the "Sun Rays" Problem ever fixed? It's a really beautiful effect, and I want to see it in 1080p

So, to fix the minimap problem, I turn on EFB to RAM. That solves the problem and it works great, except I'm getting major slowdown when it's enabled, to about 80%. It's somewhat playable, but it's definitely irritating. Any way to remedy this?
Edit: Seems like it runs fine in dungeons, the slowdown only seems to happen in the overworld. Weird. |
