I believe the issue is with the Zelda ucode that has yet to be rewritten.Hmm, reading the main post, the issue seems to still be there. But things are different. By default, the emulator sets the DSP to LLE. And this time, the emulator came with it's own LLE DSP, which I replaced with my own.
I'm wondering if I should use my own dumped DSP, or the one included with Dolphin.
As for the performance with LLE, the game seems to run fine, even while sailing. It did slow down when I was fighting a ton of enemies at once. And the audio seems to be out of place. At least the game is playable on LLE, so I wouldn't have to switch back and forth between HLE and LLE like before.
Should I only use LLE for Zelda The Wind Waker? Or is it recommended for other games? Other games run perfect in HLE, with no freezing problems like Zelda has.
Thanks for the reply btw
Also I had no crashes whatsoever (be it caused by HLE or anything else) yet.
I don't like the enforcing settings like that. Okay, its the most compatible and stable, but not the fastest. Some might appreciate something inbetween without bothering with the ini files directly^^
