So im playing Super Mario Sunshine using Dolphin 4.0 and when I start the game everything is ok i can run fullscreen i am using my ps3 controller to play the game but when I enter in my world I loose around 50% of my speed and instead of running at 100% when I am at the title screen it goes to around 60% and hangs around there. Sometimes when I'm lucky I can get to around 82% but that is extremely rare. I am using a MacBook Pro 15 in with retina display and when I downloaded the game I thought that it would of been perfect. I have 8 GB of memory and 250 GB of RAM and my processor is 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 and my video card is Intel HD Graphics 4000 Type: GPU. This is really annoying and I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Oh yea I forgot and I have watched tons of videos on how to switch things in my config and graphics options but nothing has worked one bit and I restarted all my config to the normal settings. Cutscenes run perfectly it's just my world. If anyone could help that would be great it is really annoying playing at half speed and not getting the full enjoyment of the game that I had when i was really young playing this on a gamecube.

Downloading games is against the forum rules. Dump the game from your own disc.

I am having difficulties getting my settings right in order to run and shoot water with my controller. I have tried adjusting the threshold, making sure both digital and analog match the corresponding trigger. Maybe I am missing something, or i did not find the right settings for both L and R trigger. Any suggestions so i can run and shoot? I can either do nothing but run and shoot, or only stop and shoot.
On second thought; could it be the controller i am using? i bought a controller online called RetroLink, which makes a GameCube USB controller. The controller works amazing on everything I have played so far up until now, when I need to be able to have the R trigger do more then 1 function. 07-05-2014, 10:20 AM

I tried a lot of 3rd party controllers with Dolphin and found that none of them performed well with the analogue issues. If you've got a gamecube controller I really recommend getting one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mayflash-PC035-3...B0059HNGHI I've used this since day-1 and touch wood; no troubles whatsoever. Perfect control emulation.

Good morning/afternoon/evening!
I'm having problems with the whole audio thing... I don't know if someone has adressed this issue before, if so please redirect me there. Basically, everything runs great... except for audio. It is laggy in videos and unexistant in game. The audio lag is horrible, and then once I start actually playing it just dissappears. Yes, it is my own dump of the game. Is there anything I can do? what are the best settings for this masterpiece? Thanks for reading! 07-10-2014, 03:08 PM
audio is fine here, seems like you're having issues. Are you not running the game full speed.

I literally completed this game about 3 weeks ago - I used DSP HLE, on 4.0.2 x64. I had no problems whatsoever apart from a couple of buggy saves that are down to using both memory card and statesave emulation (use one or the other really...)
