Hey guys, just picked up emulating, been playing through, and I got stuck on Pinna Park because of a bit of a glitch with an enemy sticking halfway through a grate you are supposed to climb under (episode 3, the red coin level), you can't kick them like you're supposed to. Would this be a corrupt .iso and I should redump? I haven't found this bug anywhere else, and I'm a little too new at this to figure out what I'm doing to fix it, and for once my google-fu has failed me.

Thanks for any input.

Hello,

I seem to be the only soul on this planet with this problem: The game runs perfectly at 25fps/100%, no glitches or anything wrong, but while doing the first mission in Pinna Park: Mecha-Bowser Appears, I can't do anything on the roller coaster besides looking around. Mario does a pump animation when I hold the right trigger, but the rocket won't start or get blown up or anything.

I tried the different interpreters and DSPs but no luck. HELP!?

Solved it myself! I misconfigured the controls and only had analog input for the triggers. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

This is not an emulator issue, but it's a thing that has been bothering me for a long time. I was saving in Super Mario Sunshine when my Wii tipped over and fell on the GC mem card. Neadless to say, the mem card's cover/casing broke and the save corrupted. I got a new card and everything is fine but the game. For some reason Mario can't shoot any water. Not that it isn't rendering, it's just doesn't spay out. I am able to take in water and the game does the animation and all, but no water comes out. The sound of water spraying doesn't occur, so I can rule out any visual glitches. I would believe the disk is damaged, but wouldn't then the game be unreadable at some point? I couldn't find any major scratches, and made sure to clean the disk. Any thoughts?

Maybe the simplest of explanations: Have you mapped your controller buttons correctly?
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

He's playing on console. Possible explanations: 1. Controller is broken. 2. Controller port on the Wii is broken (I had a sega genesis where I couldn't press down on controller 1 without crashing the console; swapped with port 2 it worked fine, but then port 2 would do it.)

I play can Mario Kart Wii perfectly fine with the GC controller, so it's not broken.

Mario Kart Wii does not rely on the analog R/L functionality of hte GC controller, Super Mario Sunshine does.

But don't you release/trigger items using the analog R/L buttons on the GC controller in Mario Kart Wii?
