I tried the latest build of the emulator (9482) running the game at Native resolution no AA and the framerate is choppy between 30-40 FPS, very piss poor. I remember a build of Dolphin from 2-3 years ago that ran the game perfectly with no performance issues, I just wish I remember what it was. 06-23-2016, 06:12 PM
Could not having a GPU be a hindrance to my performance when running this game? I'm kinda relying on my CPU for that too.

The game is locked at 30FPS by Default unless you use the 60fps hack. It does look choppy but sadly that's how they made it. So 30FPS Is good, unless you get literal slowdown/slow motion. Also your CPU/GPU look great, better than mine when I first started playing. I originally started on a 2.4GHz CPU and Intel HD Graphics. Now that was truly laggy.
Super Mario Sunshine works perfectly on the latest development build, with or without the 60 FPS code.
A few things: Are you using the correct and properly improved 60 FPS Gecko Code? It is a Gecko code, not an AR code and it works for every region. It does not require any sort of hack. The older version of the code require some sort of VBeam hack which got quickely removed from the Development build due instability issues (imagine that every FPS code started depending on this hack). Ishiiruka offered the Double Video Rate Hack, which still is a hack but allowed the old 60 FPS patch (it was a patch, not a Gecko Code) to have audio at normal speed. Code: $60 FPS (Region-Free) The second thing, if you are using PAL there is the option to run the game at 50 hz (25 FPS) or 60 hz (30 FPS). NTSC-U only runs at 60 hz (30 FPS). So make sure if using PAL you are running on 60 hz mode (50 VPS equals 50 hz mode which equals 25 FPS). Thirdly, start by using the default settings. Use the latest development build. Disable all codes (at least temporary, although you should test the widescreen and 60 FPS codes). Make sure the GMSE01.ini uses the default values. Super Mario Sunshine may cause some issues with the wrong settings. Do not open the graphics menu after booting the game, it reverts back to the user preferences selected in the GUI. Personally, I use HLE audio, DirectX12, JIT Recompiler (obviously), Activate Dual Core, Activate Idle Skipping. Set the speed limit to: 100% as is indicated as normal speed. It still works fine with Hi-res Texture Pack support by using the Prefetch Custom Textures option. Should you use a Hi-res Texture Pack without that option, expect some serious stuttering. Another way to avoid texture pack related stuttering is by using DDS texture packs instead of PNG. What SMS requires more or less * Anisotropic Filtering: 1x * Scaled EFB Copy: Enabled * Force Texture Filtering: Disabled * Skip EFB Access from GPU: Disabled * Store EFB copies to Texture Only: Disabled 06-28-2016, 04:39 AM

Hello, first time poster. I'm running Super Mario Sunshine great and everything, and then I notice that I'm seeing double, literally. Any fix to this?
Here's an example: http://i.imgur.com/DqKpulV.jpg 07-29-2016, 12:11 AM
Hey, in my game, when I do some specific actions I hear a beep and it doesn't work. For example, in the Yoshi-Go-Round's Secret level, when I place Yoshi under a pole, it should bring me to a special level, but I just hear a beep and it doesn't work. Halp!
