I fixed the ineffective goop problem, I think it had something to do with "Bounding Box Calculation".

No problem. That would be the reason. Also your game speed is set to 120%? You're getting a timer 2.2x faster than the normal timer because of that and the 60fps hack. If you don't mind me asking, why do you have it set to 120% instead of 100%?
Also does anyone else get random stuttering around the pinata statue in the center of Delfino plaza? It keeps happening to me, and if I hit tab it goes to 80 and stutters down to 77 so its not the limitations of my computer. Then every so often I get an unknown instruction error and the game crashes. This started with me using OpenGL and the heatwave removal AR Code; I'll post the error next time it happens. 06-15-2016, 12:01 AM
its set to 120% because thats what the youtube 60FPS hack explanation said. game doesnt seem too fast for me

hmmm i made all my settings back to stock mario, and the timer is still fast/I am still slow. It takes me 5 seconds to reach the first turn, 10 seconds to reach the second.
What concerns me isn't just the timer, it's the youtube videos i see. Everyone seems to explode out the gate, while i just go ho hum about. I am counting to myself 1-mississippi, 2 miss, and the timer seems like its fine. It seems that its me thats slow. Is there some boost button, a turbo nozzle that everyones using? I tried all the buttons none seem to make me faster. hell i can't even bring the turbo nozzle into this realm, and i can't find it here already either. Using Dolphin (not Ishiiruka) 4.0-9330: 1. 60 FPS hack is unchecked 2. CPU overclock is back to 100% 3. Speed limit is 100% (Normal Speed) 4. No AR codes are checked

Did you uncheck double video rate hack too? Try turning more sharply at turns and during that time where you turn rapidly in a snake like pattern, jump over it.

Forgot, every time someone posts here I wake up in a panic "ah the buzzing". Phone functions :p. Make sure your holding the control stick all the way forward and don't slow down.

wtf, well im confused. I tried Dolphin Ishiiruka 674, and actually turned on all the 60FPS hack stuff, and no shit, the increased speed of the game combined with the 60fps hack, i was able to do the lap in 37 seconds just fine. Twice actually to get both stars. There was definitively a slower time
damned if i know why, but thanks Noah16

Yeah that is strange because with the 60fps hack you *should* have a double speed timer. I don't know, super Mario sunshine is one of the buggiest games I've seen for the emulator so far, but my range of what I consider a bug goes out pretty far.

Its almost that time of year again where I play one of my most favorite games of all time.
Is there a consensus on what the most stable and accurate build is for this game? I'm aiming more towards consistant framerate than pretty graphics, what do you guys recommend? PC Specs: Intel Core i7-4770K @ 3.5 GHz | ASUS Z87-DELUXE | G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 | Samsung 850 Evo 250GB + Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache | CORSAIR TX850M 850W | Cooler Master HAF 932 | Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 |
