Yes, definitely use the newest revision. Optionally change your backend to OpenAL from XAudio2. The game should be more stable after doing that.

Thank you skid. I am now using the latest version and changed to Open AL. However, I am still having issues with my audio deteriorating in quality after playing for a while. Today after about 2 hours of playing my audio started to lose quality. The audio sounds like it is going at half rate or half speed, but the game speed does not seem to slow down and plays normally.
I am posting some of my current Dolphin configuration settings, maybe I don't have it optimized enough for the game. On a side note, I am running 25 FPS and 50VPS for the game, is that considered normal? These settings make the game run at 100% according to the emulator. Thanks guys 04-04-2013, 03:00 PM

Yes, I've had that problem, where the audio starts having "sounding scratchy" or "static-like" after extended play times. A quick solution is to just save (preferably to the emulator memory card, not save state), stop Dolphin, then start playing. Unless you play for 4 or 5 hours in a row (that's bad for you eyes!), you'd most likely only have to do this like once per play session. For some people, recent revisions have done away with crackling audio. For others (poor haddockd ) they're quite persistent; see this thread for more details. Zantaskan Wrote:On a side note, I am running 25 FPS and 50VPS for the game, is that considered normal? Yes, if you have the PAL version of the game, this is the normal speed. Depending on what the developers of the game choose, most PAL games run at either 25 or 50 FPS (LoZ:WW PAL, a notable exception, runs 30 most of the time, however).
Yes, use the latest version of Dolphin again, now Dolphin 3.5-1168. It contains some audio fixes. Also drop the latency of OpenAL to 1 and slowly increase it until the crackling goes away. Otherwise, just use XAudio2 as your PC is fast enough and I didn't notice any real issues in this game with that backend.

Hello Everybody and thanks for this topic, but somehow it doesn't helped me resolving my problem.
Sounds runs nice with HLE, but LLE on thread is better. I've been searching, try different configuration for making this game running smoothly and even using the configuration post as helping hand I still have a graphical problem. When using either DX9 or DX11, I have missing objects or the entire textures on screen, and make the game almost unplayable. When using DX9, I get no menu, all blackened when pushing button menu, nothing selectable in battle But the rest seems OK. And, when using DX11, I get the exact opposite : Menu appearing, even in battle, etc... But nearly most textures are blackened (like a total blackout) I really don't know what to do, or what to choose. All help is acceptable ! EDIT : I'm putting my config here, if needed. Core : QuadCore Intel Core i5-3450 3.3GHz Motherboard : Asus P8H77-V LE (Intel Panther Point H77, Intel Ivy Bridge) Graphic card : AMD Radeon HD6670 2048Mo (Turks) (1680x1050 screen size) Memory : 2x 4Go Kingston DDR3-1333 HDD : 500Mo (Windows) + 2To (Personnal) Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with all drivers up to date, same goes for DirectX. 04-20-2013, 05:05 AM
