I honestly don't know the first thing about AR codes or how people build them. Sorry.

I'm not even sure if this is technically possible so if it isn't ignore me but I think the ability to toggle off the HUD in some games would be cool for screenshot/minimalistic purposes, perhaps making the feature toggle off all sprites? or maybe just disable anything that moves with the camera. Once again I apologize if this is a stupid request as I really don't know what I'm talking about.

You could try replacing the HUD textures with transparent textures using the "load custom textures" option. This will normally only work if the HUD is made up entirely of textures and not models. Not the best method though. Using an AR code is probably better. 03-28-2016, 06:40 PM

Just to bounce off this idea, maybe allow for us to point Dolphin towards a directory for custom textures? Again while playing Smash I noticed I had the exact same HD texture pack saved to my PC twice. I feel like the pieces are there for these things but no one's had the idea to do it. I hope I'm not overstepping. 03-28-2016, 09:44 PM
You can kind of do this with symbolic links, but I agree that there's some degree of niceness to doing it in Dolphin instead of your OS.

Probably not possible, because the game would get confused if the time were to change suddenly. (Should be in the feature request thread, not in Development Discussion.)

Because it's not possible on real hardware and can confuse games, it's not going to be implemented as far as I know. 04-05-2016, 05:55 PM
You need to reset the console in order to access the menu you see in that video. The game can't be running at the same time. You can access the menu in Dolphin if you have the GameCube BIOS.
