What are your settings in Dolphin? The P8800 should be enough to run it full speed.

when asking for help try to put in all this info

Dolphin settings all screens - Config -> general (all here) and config plugins -> DX settings and Audio HLE settings (make sure you use DSOUND)
Drivers for graphics card, sound card (noticed a slow down with 2.18.11 creative), maybe northbridge/southbridge (mobo drivers)
Any type of overclocking you have done if none say none
Ram timings might help and brand
Make sure your rig is stable aka prime95 google it
Windows 7 RTM or beta's ? or retail
Check your temps of your machine to insure its not overheating (google a application like speedfan)
Disable Enhanced Intel SpeedStep in the bios?

do you mean speedstep?

55c or 55f?

run prime95 for 10 minutes and watch your temperature (also make sure the laptop is plugged into the wall.
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103

run the Blend test

(IF ITS) 55c makes me think your cpu is overheating if its during idle and your cpu is slowing itself down to keep from roasting.

Did you turn off speedstep?

core 0 : 72 C
core 1 : 68 C
wat do u think i should do ???

is there anything tht could be done to cool it ? or should i just give up ??
I'd invest in a laptop cooling pad. You plug it into the laptop's USB and blows additional air onto the bottom of the laptop.

i'd give it a try

thanks for replying
yea just read that ouch my cpu barely gets to 60c in the summer .... once again the reason never to buy a laptop for gaming lol Tongue

Def get a cooling pad OR ... if its under warranty i would take it in 72c seems harder to fix then a cooling pad.
