Basically a remake version of this thread
Since Microsoft removed WEI out of their latest OS (Windows 10) , we are no long able to use it .
Btw , I don't like WEI cuz it does not use the correct method to calculate your PC performance (using lowest score as result) and it does not work well with mobile GPU  Confused

There are many type of benchmark out there but most of them will take long time to process and calculate results

So let's head over to
http://www.userbenchmark.com/
And try it out . It's only 5MB and it's quite fast
Here is my result for the lulz
Spoiler:
For laptop user , you need to do this

I'm winning so far.

Spoiler:
Thought I'd give it a try being new. Pretty much as I expected.
Results on my frankenstein PC:
Very nice . I think I should get a little bit more serious nao
Spoiler:
Decided to try for worst PC with my crappy old AMD laptop.
Alright, I'll give it a shot, too. And while I'm at it, I'll ask a question. Here are my laptop's results:

Spoiler:
However, something caught my attention, and I'm almost completely sure it's just some weirdness with the software, but I'll ask anyway. It reported that my video card (a GTX 980M) was performing way below its expected performance:

Spoiler:
However, it seems to be running fine to me; leaving the fact that it can run Dolphin games at well over 4X IR aside, it can run GTA V at 1080p with pretty high settings and only occasionally drop below 60fps, which is pretty much the performance I expected out of it. Does anyone have any idea why it reports my GPU is underperforming? Should I check something, or is it just the benchmarking software not working correctly?
Nvidia has enabled "battery boost" feature in their Geforce Experience recently and that is the problem

Make sure you enable "prefer maximum performance" via Nvidia CP - global settings (not program settings) or else your GPU will be underclocked and GPU boost will be disabled .
You can verify this with Nvidia Inspector . Thanks to GPU boost , GTX 860M boost up from default clock : 540Mhz to 1097MHz
I made sure to do that a long time ago. My global settings are set so programs use the dedicated GPU, and power management is set to maximum performance. Just in case, before I ran the program, I also did this for the .exe in profile settings in the CP, so I don't think that's the issue. Also, like I said, there haven't actually been any issues with performance, unless my card is somehow supposed to be destroying GTA V at 1080p with maxed settings (I don't think it is). Just in case, here's what Nvidia Inspector has to say:

[attachment=14670]

"Current Clock" was at 1126MHz when I first opened the program, but it dropped down to 405 after a few seconds. I haven't touched anything in the overclocking section. On that note, though it's somewhat unrelated, do you think I should? Would I see significant gains in performance, and how much would it affect the life of my card?
If your GPU Load is 99% and current clock = 1126MHz when doing GPU benchmark then your GPU itself is not a problem
In idle mode , my GPU clock is only at 135MHz

Idk , watch your GPU temp . Mine only reach 60C at full load and I don't OC at all . The good thing about GPU boost 2.0 is it will allow your GPU increase the boost clock until the GPU hits a predetermined temperature target . In my case , I got twice the default clock (540 -> 1098)
Alright, so it seems like the benchmarking software just doesn't know what it's talking about. Thanks for the information.
