Either one should be fine.
Both laptops you brought are quite expensive actually . The battery life of Asus gl752v is only half of the dell but cost more , The ROG G751JL version is not better
The ROG GL752VW is cheaper than ROG G751JL but it's not a gaming laptop . Sure it can game but it will run really hot and overheat without a doubt (only 1 heatsink for both CPU and GPU , if this is not suicide then what is it ?)
This Dell is much better

The Dell is easier to fix than most laptop out there . You only have to remove 1 screw and bam ! You can access all components
3 heatsinks allow CPU and GPU run cooler , there will be no throttle and your laptop lifespan will be longer
Btw 60 FPS on most games is impossible .
Wii/GC's framelimit are
_NTSC (US/JAP) is either 30FPS or 60FPS
_PAL (EU) is either 25FPS or 50 FPS
This is how it works on real console . For example , max FPS of Xenoblade (PAL) is 25 FPS

Appreciate your thoughts, but I've historically had bad luck with dell though that was many years ago. Any similar alternatives? I like having options. And I just meant 60fps for games intended to run at that speed. I know most are 30fps
Edit will this work? Seems like the best deal to me.

The Dell has the best price/performance ratio for a gaming laptop. If you want any other type of gaming laptop, they'll all be over $1000

Does the dell have easily upgradable ram? My current dead laptop has 8gbs of ram and it seems a shame to not upgrade that aspect. But If the ram can be upgraded then heck i might as well go with it.
Oh crap never mind, the dell has no optical drive and would rather not full with an external one. So basically will
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01578ZKPO/ref=...B015QZV9H6 this work? Keep in mind my budget is 1200 so a little extra cost won't bug me. just wanna ensure the higher ends will work without too much heat.
if a USB external optical drive really isn't an option for you, then yes, that laptop will do fine.

Thanks. I live under very unique circumstances that would take far to long to explain via my PS4 keyboard. Basically I'm disabled though, little things can be challenging, like fooling around with external devices. That's also why I wanted to spec a wii emulation machine because I couldn't play most wii games. With dolphin I can use a DUALSHOCK for almost any game.
I understand physical disabilities.
That makes a lot more sense. Laptop should be perfectly fine for Dolphin and PC games alike.

The tough thing for me is a lot of what is considered more accessible is less accessible for me. Like tap to click for touch pads, much easier for me to rest my thumb on a physical button and click rather than lift my pointer finger and tap the touch pad. Touch screens are a real witch too, despite most people with physical disabilities having a much easier time with touch screens. That's why I sometimes feel its hard to explain to people my specific challenges.
