I try to run Mario Kart and Mario Party, but it just keeps lagging.

My specs is:

Intel Core i3 4130 @ 3.40GH
Intel HD Graphic 4400
8 GB Ram
SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series
Windows 8.1 x64

Is there anything I can do to get Dolphin to work without the game lagging so much that it cant be played?

This is my first time trying Dolphin, so I have left all the settings to default.
Update to the latest dev revision,  the stable builds are much slower and less accurate.
Thank you, I`ll give it a try and see if it helps Smile

Will I gain anything by upgrading my GPU to Radeon r7 360 or Radeon r7 260x?
Mario Kart Wii is a GPU demanding game , HD4400 won't cut it even at lowest resolution . I recommend HD6670/HD7750 GDDR5 or Nvidia GTX 750 or better GPU
BTW DO NOT BUY DDR3 GPU !
I tried v 4.0-6988 but that only made it worse. Sound is terrible, FPS is at 20 at the game lags so much I cant get past game menu.
That`s to bad.

Guess it`s time to upgrade my GPU then.

Will I be able to run Mario Kart, Super Mario, Mario Party, Zelda and Metroide Prime with my current setting and an upgraded gpu?

I actually have a Radeon XFX HD 6870 laying around. Will this help or is it the same as my HD4400? Maybe XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 "Dual Fan"?

Specs:
-DVI x2, HDMI x1, DisplayPort x2
-GPU frequency 900MHz
-Interface typePCI-E
-Memory1GB GDDR5
-Memory speed 4200MHz

It's free , right ? Yeah , it should be good enough
I have GTX 750 and it can run any game at 3xInternal Resolution (1920x1584) + FXAA . Base on benchmark , HD6870 is onpar with GTX 750

Yes it`s free, just collecting dust for now.

XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 "Dual Fan" is only 30$, so if it performs better I just go for this one.
Wait a minute . Does your PSU provide enough power for that beast ?
Hmm...

My PSU is a corsair 550w.

Will it fit in a Antec Fusion Remote, or is the 6950 to big in size?
