Hi guys, I want to build a mini itx pc.

My case can´t hold a better processor cause there is no place and there is no power Big Grin So, please dont recommend any better if it´s bigger.

I´d tested a am1 5350 and it´s slow on dolphin, no way to play a game.

Anyone knows if a celeron j1800 will do better? I just want to play lighter games like mario party 4, 5, 6, etc. am1 5350 can´t run this games at reasonable speed.

AFAIK g3258 comes with a normal intel heatsink? That wont fit in my case.

Psu is 70W.

Max height is amd am1 heatsink.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks!
Better than the AMD chip, but to be honest, it's still inappropriate for Dolphin. You need to forget about using whatever case+PSU you have and get a (slightly) larger MiniITX case, reasonable PSU, and G3258.

What budget are we working with here?
I have a proper gaming rig for dolphin Big Grin

This is just another project.

Do you think g3250 (not 3258) will run dolphin fine, at least light games? I cant find 3258 in my country.

Also I´ll use the g3250 gpu, not sure if will be enough.

Sorry, but the only thing that really make the G3258 interesting is its overclock potential. Can't overclock the G3250, so it isn't really appropriate.

It will run "light" games, yes, but it's not in the league of a 4+GHz G3258. Unfortunately, the most interesting/fun games (in my opinion) tend to be among the heaviest.
Thanks.

Sure, Im just looking for a system that can run some mario party games and other multiplayer games.

I think any intel g32xx could run them well, but Im not sure about onboard gpu. It will be nice to run at least at IR x2 or x3.
Intel hd haswell (Pentium) is slower than intel hd 4600
Hd 4600 can handle 2x IR
I don't know how small your case is but 70W PSU is worthless imo
Oh, so a 4600 can´t handle x2? That´s too bad. Even the 8420 that comes with am1 can handle x2, but the cpu is lagging.

I guess i will let this build for future, decent and small cpu Big Grin

My case is something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mczLWLgNTvE

Did I say that ?
Hd 4600 can handle 2x IR plus it can run some games at 2.5xIR . HD 8670D (APU + 2133MHz RAM) is the same , it can't handle 3xIR , I tried
Pentium Haswell's iGPU is not "Intel HD 4600" but Intel HD Haswell
i3/i5/i7's iGPU is either Intel HD 4400 or HD 4600
Pentium Haswell's IGPU is not as fast as i3/i5/i7's iGPU
ups, misread, my bad. Thanks for all the info.

So, I think atm, my only options are g3250 (g3258 if I can find one) or i3 4410. i3 4410 comes with hd4400, weaker than hd4600 on dolphin, by much? Who knows.

i5 haswell has a higher tdp than my psu.
Hd 4400 can handle 2xIR for sure since the minimum requirement for 2IR is IvyBridge hd4000
