If Dolphin accepted donations, I'd be the first to throw some money at the project. The dolphin team has done an amazing job here and I'd love to support development. Has any thought been put into this? Maybe it could be used to fund a code/bug-hunt bounty program

I'll say it again, but probably the biggest things anyone can donate are time and code. Even if you can't code, there are ways to help out in Dolphin (testing games, reporting bugs, helping out with the wiki, stuff of that nature).
