So I'm trying to play Mario Sunshine on the latest dolphin build and I am running into alot of slow down. I know that alot of regular forum posters have seen similar threads like this but I believe that the problem is not my system. People in the mario sunshine game discussion thread have said that they have been able to get full speed with a roughly 2.5GHz system. Here is my system:

AMD PhenomII X3 overclocked at 3.4GHz
ATI Radeon 4870 1GB edition
4GBs of RAM

So since my system is only getting 20 fps compared to other people with weaker system getting the full 30 (mario sunshine runs at 30 fps at full speed) I believe its a setting problem. I am using Windows 7 if that may cause some problems. Here are some screen shots of my settings:

is your os 32 or 64 bit? and is other audio off in the dsp hle setting?
EFB Copy on GL texture and disable AA( just to try , I know ATI are good with it but try it ) ,maybe dont use the framelimiter too ^^

yes that too Smile
My OS is 32 bit and the sound settings are all on default. I need to have EFB Copy to RAM in oder for sunshine to run right (you will get damaged by invisible goo if not clicked). I'll try disabling AA and not use the frame limiter.
Dont forget to use the Game thread index next time ^^

I did, that is the thread I am referring to in my first post but nothing that I read there worked for me. I guess you are talking about the part how EFB Copy to RAM is really slow?
No I dont have the game so I didnt know the setup (just trying to find an issue for you) but everything is in this thread so post there , that's what I meant ^^
Hm, well I don't think it is the specific games since I ran with with EFB Copy to RAM and I still got 20 fps and that is supposed to be faster.
maybe try a build with watchdog config patch

get one here http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-2332.html
