I have been trying to enable Hi-res textures the past 2 hours now.. Looking at the FAQ, online documentation and the past 7 pages in the support-category don't provide any help. There's also no official guides I can find on how to enable custom textures.

Some information:
Dolphin versions used:
4.0.2
4.0-1403

Game properties of both games are unchanged.

Textures tried to use:
Paper Mario: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-pa...-pack-v0-1
Mario Sunshine: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-su...xture-pack

Locations tried to use for saving the hires textures:
C:\Users\Thor\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\*Game_ID*
C:\Users\Thor\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\User\Load\Textures\*Game_ID*
Last one is based on the info in the description bubble on graphics->Advanced when pointing at "Load custom textures"

Looking at the text in either Dolphin version tells me that the hires textures isn't loaded at all. And so does the save-select-menu on Sunshine.

What am I doing wrong?
In the Advanced Tab of the graphics plugin, did you remember to check "Load Custom Textures" or whatever it's called nowadays?

nvm, I need to learn how to read. Anyway, try using the other backends and such.
Changing from Direct3D to OpenGL did the trick.. But can this confirm that the Hi-res option in Direct3D are broken atm?

Also:
The correct folder for saving textures is:
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\*GameID*

Should probably be updated in the description box to avoid confusion.
