Hi Ya All !

Yesterday i first installed Dolphin and played some Games on my MediaPC. The Emulator runs well with 1x IF (All Filters OFF) on my Mini-ITX with Pentium G870 @ 3100Mhz and HD2000
in Mario Kart i have around 40 FPS but i whant to Play in 2x IF or 4x SSA. So i checked the FAQ and i know the Intel HD GPUs are verry bad ! But i only have a little MediaPC on my TV-LCD in it is no room for Low-Profile AMD or NVIDIA Card... so i will ask you if a Update to: i3-3225 with HD4000 will be a good way ? Or do i need a complete new System ? The Current PC is only for Watching BluRay 1080p and was not configured for Gaming :-)

Thanks a lot
Hd 4000 will not yield significant improvements. Ssaa will still not be usable and it will still need to be 1x for the majority of games if not all.
Intel HD 2000 does not meet the minimum requirement for Dolphin (you have GPU bottleneck , your iGPU will slowdown your CPU speed depending on the game)
Intel HD 3000 meet the minimum requirement for Dolphin (1xIR , no AA , 16x AF) . Some light-weight game can use 2xIR
Intel HD 4000 is faster than Intel HD 3000 but :
_GPU intensive game such as Mario Galaxy still destroy it at 1xIR though most games will be fine
_Some light-weight game can use 2xIR or even 2.5xIR
Mario Kart is not really demanding so 2xIR is possible for Intel HD 4000

This would probably be the best choice
Btw , Sandy Bridge(SB) Pentium G8xx/G6xx does not have Intel HD 2000
Same case to Ivy Bridge(IB) Pentium G2xxx does not have Intel HD 4000

The one hold Intel HD 2000 is SB Core i3 2xxx . SB Pentium G8xx have Intel® HD Graphics which is slower than Intel HD 2000 (totally garbage )

IB Pentium G2xxx also have Intel® HD Graphics although it is clearly faster than SB Pentium G8xx's Intel® HD Graphics (same name but there is difference in performance)
So what is the best CPU Update for my 1155 Sockel ? I dont have the Money to buy complete new System i also love the Small Mini-ITX on Livingroom.
What board do you have? Probably a 3570k. You will still have a lackluster IGP though.

Edit: I'm betting you have an h61 board so overclocking is out but I don't think you get hd 4000 with a 3570. Does your system have a pcie slot?
For the love of the god , Don't ever combine i5 SB/IB with H61 mobo .
Ah , nevermind . Make sure your H61 mobo's manufacturer has bios update for IB or else you can't install IB on that mobo !
Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-H61N-USB3
CPU: Intel Pentium Processor G870
Case: Compucase 8K01BS-SA12U - Inkl. 120W Power Supply

So you see.. i have PCIe.. but cant use it in the Case :-( :-( i can try to Cut out a smal part on the back.. but i dont think that i have room enough for a LowProfil AMD or Nvidia GPU.

EDIT: Bios REV8 - Support Intel 3rd generation 22nm E1 stepping CPU (Ivy bridge)

EDIT 2: What you think about this GPU: https://www.alternate.de/html/product/SA...e/1018389/?

i will take a look in my case if there any way to install it.
Download and install your mobo bios update first

Beware !!! i5 3570 has Intel HD 2500 which is slower than HD 4000
