Whenever I select a gamecube game (only tried gc) it runs well for about 30 minutes, then dolphin closes. It doesnt show a crash log or anything, it just completely closes while I'm playing. I checked the archive and I downloaded the latest version of dolphin. I have tested about ten games and they all appear to have the exact same problem, so I do not think it is a problem with the roms. I am also on a mac.
Check your temps, it sounds like an overheating issue.

My computer sure isnt overheating. I don't think Ive ever had my computer overheat actually. Do you somehow mean the program?
Dolphin is known as a very CPU intensive program - You should really check your temps. (I use the Widget iStatPro and the app Temperature Gauge for OS X)

Is there an alternate way to do that, because it seems that the website that widget comes from has malware, and the app is paid for, and I have no Itunes credit.

yes, I click download and it says that website isnt available, and when I manually go to the website, it says it has malware, so I cant access it.

Alright that works, I will check my temp later today.

I don't know where you got that idea from. Overheating causes slowdowns and in extreme cases can cause the system to shut down. It does not cause instability unless you're overclocking.

@milocricket

Does this issue occur with dolphin 3.0?
