Short post. Can the i5 3450 run dolphin, i will play games like super mario galaxy and paper mario and maybe xenoblade.

Will soon get a new pc with:

i5 3450

radeon 6850

8 gb RAM

Thanks for reading my first post and thanks for answering!
Super Mario Galaxy = No way, when you want to use LLE. SMG1+2 and LLE needs an Core i5-3570k @ 4.2GHz (in most cases)

Xenoblade = Yeah, should be playable.

Your GPU is good enough for 4x IR (more than 1080p)
Will SMG run with some tweaks? If not is a i3 2100 better for dolphin? Thanks for answering!
when u want to use HLE, SMG will run well on your CPU. But no way with LLE.

btw: The i3-2100 is less powerful than your current CPU.

Okay Thx ^^.
you're welcome. Cool
DefenderX why are you providing false info and confusing op.
SMG can run fine with that cpu.
He didnt say he need fullspeed 100% of the time, when people say "can I run xxx" it usually means "playable speed"
Oops, I thought, he needs fullspeed. Yeah, SMG is "playable" with LLE. But some areas will be slow though.
And make sure to use the anti-this-sounds-so-horrible-that-I-don't-want-to-play-any-more setting rpglord discovered, as LLE (when the game isn't at full speed) sounds so horrible that you won't want to play any more.
Hm... I dont have any sound problem using HLE with SMG1...?
