After much fiddling I cannot get Skyward sword to run at 30fps. I just got gifted a new laptop and I think it should run fine. I am using the latest dolphin. It hovers between 22 and 24 fps. I am new at this and appreciate all the help. I am sure that it is somehow my fault Rolleyes Iam also having sound issues, multiple songs play together.. Playable but could be better

your cpu is to slow to run skyward at 100%
over 3.2++ghz (sandybridge) is needed

and your cpu is only a quadcore(4core) cpu...
the hyperthreading cores are only emulated...
in short... for better thread balance
but nevermind dolphin only uses 2cores

but use directx9
and look into the skyward thread for best settings
That cpu is a bit too slow to get fullspeed all the time but it should still do well.

Turn on lock threads to cores and follow dannzens advice:
