hey ia m trying to connect a real wiimote in build 6298 but it never registers in any game.

yes i press alt+f5 to connect the first one, and i installed my bluetooth adapter. what could be wrong?
Does it say "1 real wiimote connected" in the wiimote settings? Have you used the pulldown to change it from Emulated Wiimote to Real Wiimote?

Try using a newer wiimote (that fixed this issue for me).

sorry i can't help you, just wanted to say i am having exactly the same issue (new official wiimote too) been searching for over a week for a solution, i hope you have better luck than me.
and just too make things that little bit more strange, the wiimote IS detected by Dolphin (vibrates to register) tried with multiple different builds and still nada... best of luck, if you find a solution please can you share it.

Hi,

same by me. I've 3 real wiimotes. 2 of them work well but one has the same issue.
But when i try to connect to the Program WiinRemote.exe the opposit happend. 2 Wiimotes don't work and the bad wiimote runs with this program. Very stupid!?!

I'm having this same problem on two different machines with two different bluetooth adapters and the ms stack (and also with BlueSoleili tried as well)..

My issues are on windows 7 ultimate x64.. sounds similar.

First time around things are great..

If you reboot.. and when on the ms stack, trying to use it again, results in the hid driver not being loaded correctly that time around..

You have to uninstall all drivers and try again, then when you do, dolphin recognizes it, says connected but buttons dont work.

If you do this with BlueSoleil, you dont get the hid error.. but the same lack of input occurs..

Is anyone out there actually getting their wii motes to work on win 7 x64 (after a reboot)?

I'm about to give up on this project.

This adapter sucks, its a very very cheap class 3.

Buy a class 2(or class 1, it's better) dongle and use bluesoleil.

This adapters works good:

Has anyone used this adapter successfully with windows 7 x64?

What's exactly your problem? Because I have an usb adapter that has the same "core" (IVT Bluesoleil BT stack) and in Windows XP SP3 I can't get it to even recognise the Wiimote with Bluesoleil (it detects my cellphone, but not the Wiimote)...

In my case, per my notes here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-130...#pid120988 I was actually using my dv7t laptops internal bluetooth on windows 7 x64..

It would recognize it, but i had random issues, particularly after a reboot.. where i'd get a hid driver error.. or when using bluesoleil it would detect it on reboot, but buttons wouldnt work, unless i removed every driver and started over again.

So i was hoping maybe a dedicated usb bt dongle out there that is known to be fine, would solve this situation.. like the one i asked about above..?
