Any combination of wiimotes that does not include both these two in particular works fine. But even if I connect this two only, one of them stops responding. Anyone ever experienced that?
are they official motes? i use an
iogear bluetooth without any issues. however, i have only had 3 motes hooked up to it at one time, so i cannot verify that it will work with 4.
They are not official.
The strange part is I bought 2 from one seller and other 2 from another, so I have two brands of wiimotes (two of each brand).
Let's name them A1, A2, B1 and B2.
A1 and A2 are from the one brand, B1 and B2 from another.
The problem occurs when I hook up A1 and B1 simultaneously, if I try A1 and B2 it works, it also works A2 and B1.
So it is not related to the brand of the wiimotes.
I checked A1 and B1 MAC Address and they are different, as expected.
I really don't know what to do, but I ordered a class 1 Bluetooth dongle, maybe the problem will go away.
I have the same problem.
1 step)
I connect the first wiimote with thoshiba stack (OK),
I connect the second wiimote with thoshiba stack (OK),
I connect the third wiimote with thoshiba stack (OK),
I have difficult to connect the fourth wiimote but I connect the forth wiimote with more attempts.
OK all four wiimote are connect to thoshiba stack.
2 step)
I open dolphin.
I go to real wiimote and I set four real wiimote I click to refresh and 4 wiimote are detect.
3 step)
I open the game (all game have the same problem)
The game detect all 4 wiimote.
I set the character and i ready to play.
4 step)
During the game the wiimote disconnect.
The led turn off.
the wiimote turn off random, sometimes turn off the first sometimes turn off second, sometimes turn off third or sometimes turn off fourth. sometimes turn off 2 wiimote simultaneously.
Note: This problem was found in all version (the corrent version is x86-r7251) and i tried buetooth v1.0 and i buy buetooth v3.0 thinking that the problem was buetooth. The buetooth v1.0 works better than the v3.0. The wiimote are two original Japan buyed from a first vendor and other two wiimote are OEM (this work only thoshiba stack, don't work with windows driver) but the problem to connecting 4 real wiimote there is also 4 original wiimote my friend.
Help me, what is the problem? The buetooth? The driver? The wiimote (but three wiimote working good).
I think have found the problem. My modem wi-fi make interference.I think that the frequency Buetooth is equal Wi-fi (2,4 Ghz)
1) wi-fi modem
2) cordless (telephon)
3) video transmitter (sky... ecc)
if you have one device that work to 2,4 Ghz you turn off. After turn off all device you start to identify 4 wiimote. I attend your answer for check my idea.
i found interference too with my wifi router! I always loose sync with my only wiimote if wifi is enabled (the wifi router is near the bluetooth and wiimote). If I disable wifi...connection is much more stable!
