But we must do it via one of Hex Editors: Open image with winhex(i've used that one), and you will see that string string: "SX4P01", change it to: "SX4J01", and save the image. Enjoy!
Yes! Now I can confirm, this method works perfect!
Think you can jot up and walk through on that? pretty please?
Download this, open "patcher.exe", select "as-xeno.iso", then select "patch.ppf", and click apply.

I've made a patch(if you don't want to bother with editors), you can download it here: http://www.multiupload.com/0HT3E314L0
Open "patcher.exe", select "as-xeno.iso", then select "patch.ppf", and click apply. 08-21-2011, 02:50 PM
It works! Runs just as good as on my wii now. Wow thanks!

I had disabled audio throttle and checking VBeam boosted me to a solid 30fps with no slowdowns even in battle (which i did before this). I still had the audio cracking so i checked audio throttle and now i get solid 25 fps which i believe is normal for a PAL game. 08-21-2011, 03:08 PM
This game is full speed in my pc and looks great in 3D with the 3D vision discorer pack (Red/Cyan glass), I love it!

After doing this and with my previous settings now i get 30 fps instead of 25 with no audio cracking. Though my framerate does go from 25-30 is rather unnoticeable and runs most of the time at 30 and in battles it reaches its lowest at 25 which is smooth as silk. 08-21-2011, 03:39 PM
Not got any audio crackling with the build in the thread below:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=2176 Still get crashing though as I'm using JIT + Vbeam for playable frame rates.

30fps as the standard framerate smoothed it out a bit, I wasn't having huge issues beforehand, but now I'm unable to keep 30 in all situations so when I drop to like 24 or 25 it's noticeably slower. Sucks for me.
Water doesn't seem to flow though. Like the texture of water still moves, but the waterfalls or the stream on the bionis' leg doesn't actually move now, even though the stream still pushes you back. 08-21-2011, 05:10 PM
The patch worked great. Finally running at 60VPS/30FPS! Unfortunately, the further I get into the game, the more it crashes.
The game doesn't seem to crash with Dual Core turned off. For those with fast enough PCs, this may be a solution. My FPS drops dramatically in single core mode, but I get no crashes :/ |
