EFB to ram, which will probably slow the game down a lot and the save picture I'd say isn't really important or necessary.

Just cant seem to get rid of the sound and stuttering, whichever revision I try.. otherwise the game runs fine. Back to playing it on the Wii I guess.

Hi all,
This game is so good it has forced my to register and contribute to this thread . I have been using the exact Dolphin revision and settings from post #65 here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread...#pid167141 Only thing I changed from the above settings is my Fullscreen resolution to 720p and Internal Resolution to 2x Native (so that my CPU/GPU can keep up without any stuttering, if I go any higher I seem to get problems). Additionally I am playing using my Xbox 360 joypad mapped to the emualted Classic Controller, pretty much a 1-to-1 button mapping, it's great! So far I have played for 10 hours, currently just reached Gaur Plains area. Game has been running very well for me so far, full speed all the way, the only problem I have is random crashes every now and then.... and they REALLY do seem to be random, for example: I played last night for 5 hours straight with zero problems, no crashes. Today I encountered 2 crashes within the first 5 minutes of gameplay. Since then I have been playing for another 2 hours without problems... and now it has just crashed again. These crashes seem completely unpredictable and don't seem to have any pattern or bearing on what is happening on screen. I have got into the habbit of manually saving every 10 mins so that when the next crash occurs I don't loose too much! Would love to find a fix for these random crashes once and for all, as they are the only thing spoiling the fun. Absolutely fantastic game though. 08-21-2011, 02:18 AM

I fixed this by turning off OpenCL Texture Decoder, it also significantly reduced the amount of crashing. vortextk Wrote:EFB to ram, which will probably slow the game down a lot and the save picture I'd say isn't really important or necessary.Without this option on there are significant graphical glitches in cutscenes. Though it does slow down the game quite a bit it will make textures be mirrored off the model in an exponentially increasing size repeated behind the model when it's attempting to create a blur effect around the model. There is also one cutscene that I've seen so far which is a flashback with Sharla and some other people in black and white which has a huge amount of graphical errors with this option set to off (people appear as silhouettes with seemingly random texture placement onto these silhouettes.) 08-21-2011, 02:27 AM
I've played for 3 and a half hours with EFB to texture with no problems.
Has anyone tried JITIL for the heck of it to see if it has any effect on the crashes?

With the 7716 it doesn't happend to me. @fani: So far, it worked for me... O: 7 minutes without a crash. (I just close it to post, it didn't crashed) Normally I crash every 2 minutes. The only problem is that it lowered my FPS to 17-20, but without any crash, which is good.

The random crashes aren't that of a problem for me... the game allows you to save everywhere, so quick saving every 10 seconds doesn't feel like cheating.
The sound problem and the wiimote going crazy, those are problems though. 08-21-2011, 03:32 AM
i have the same problem when saving the game the picture looks messed up but IM USING 3.0
my specs arent that great but the game runs pretty nice 17-30 fps E7500 2.93 2GB RAM XFX 9500gt i have to enable another option ??? And it's time consuming, in 2 hours, I played 20 in game minutes. But the worse thing is having it crashed in the middle of a cutscene, if you want to see it, you need to see it all over again... @chip: Just download the lastest svn, it's faster and it won't give you that problem. I use the r7716. Oh, and the crashes fixed with the fani's solution. Ty.
