Hi all, i have a somewhat old laptop, specs are:
CPU: i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz
GPU: NVidia 940MX Driver: 528.49 (the latest one)
RAM: 2x8GB
SSD storage
Game: Xenoblade Chronicles
My laptop has a native 720p resolution, thing is i'm running it on an external monitor 1080p native, so i changed resolution to 3x Native (1080p) and when i do this i notice some sound issues during cutscenes (occasional sound stuttering and image halt), every other option besides the resolution is the default one (i also turned on the compile shaders before starting)
This does not happen in 2x Native (720p), but this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/DolphinEmulator...my_system/) states it should be able to handle 1440p and it's talking about 940m gpu, not 940mx which is the one i have and should be superior. Perhaps he's talking about the game being playable instead of running flawless?
Also, is there any way i would be able to somehow get something similar to 1080p while running it at 720p? I don't know if experimenting with more graphics options or even the NVidia driver options, I understand nothing about any kind of tinkering besides changing the resolution so any help would be much appreciated.
