Hi. I recently tried to use Xenoblade Chronicles with the HD and 60 FPS gecko code. I've had this strange framerate issue.
When I engage enemies in battle, Even as insignificant as common insects, My frames go for a bit of a Dip around the 40-50 FPS. This also causes Voice lines, Music, Sound effects to have this stutter like issue. Is there any way to circumvent this? My Specs are: GTX 1050 TI, Ryzen 1500x and 8 gigs. I also used version 5.0 6854. 10-12-2018, 07:50 PM
It may be shader compilation stutter. Try using ubershaders to mitigate it, or asynchronous if you don't mind some textures not rendering for a few seconds here and there.

So I'm curious, if I wanted to run the game with the ultra HD textures, and set the internal resolution to the highest one possible, set antialising and anisotrophic filtering to their maximum values, and basically turn every single setting and option in the emulator to only favour making the game look as pretty as possible, as opposed to picking settings that make the game run better, what kind of monster of a PC would I need to realistically be able to play the game with settings like that, and still have it run smoothly? How much RAM would I need? What kind of GPU? What kind of CPU?

Which Beckend i should use with this texture pack + 60 FPS code?
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 x64 Processor/CPU: intel I7 3770 3.4 Ghz Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB Memory/RAM: 16 GB Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-xxxx X64 (always the latest) and the latest Ishiiruka for custom textures. I'm still learning english. Please, be patient with me. And, if i make a mistake, please correct me, i will learn a lot this way! 10-22-2018, 10:27 PM

Also you need to Overclock Dolphin-Emu CPU Clock above 110% In my case for 4x (2560x2112) Resolution I use Dolphin CPU Clock 118% it Fix Frame-Drops on Battle Effects Chain-Combo. Otherwise game shuttering. If you go 6x (3840x3168) 4K I recommend you to Disable 60 FPS Code. Always you have to do some tests to get the best results, you can try OpenGL/Vulkan Game runs flawless perfectly without Patch Codes : ) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4000MHz OC | RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Dual 16GB 3200MHz OC | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 1710MHz
SSD: Corsair Force MP500 240GB NVMeM.2

Hello guys,
First, thank you for the incredible job done, it's been 3 years that I am following your project. Playing Xenoblade on Wii without HD texture is such a pain! Well, 2 days ago i decided to play again this majestic game, like i did before, but this time, every HD textures load except the tutorials. Controllers buttons are fines, every others textures are fine but i get the originals tutorials (with the Wii buttons and porr quality). I know this is not very important for the game but im quite perfectionist and i'd like to know why the tutorials didnt load when everything else is loaded correctly. I follow all the steps, check many times, change Dolphin config, change Dolphin to previous versions. Did i miss something? Thank you any help and happy new year to you! ps: sorry for my english 01-04-2019, 02:29 AM
Have people started looking into setting the textures through ESRGAN? It's a really powerful upscaling algorithm that's great for low resolution images. https://github.com/xinntao/ESRGAN

You must set up your controller extension as a "Classic Controller" and not Nunchuk. (01-04-2019, 02:29 AM)WicketW Wrote: Have people started looking into setting the textures through ESRGAN?
