Your guess is correct, it does not matter where you put them because they do not conflict with anything else that exists in the pack. I'll probably just include them by default when I make an update since they do offer higher quality over the originals, if only by a small amount. And it will prevent ever having to rely on the workaround.

I am able to get everything to work with this mod except for the LRR reyn time mod and custom monados, I tested a different custom monado mod and it worked but the one in this download wont work no matter what i do.

Are you using the latest development build? Dolphin 5.0 will not work with several textures because they are BC7. Also you must replace the monado that is already in the pack. The monado and effects can be found at SX4/Weapons/Shulk. You can try to delete those in case you are getting a conflict and it's loading those textures over the custom monados.

Does anyone know why new Dolphin-x64 5.0-6842 not loading the -controller texture packs-?
For example I'm using -Controller/Tutorials PSX Texture Pack- Probably Most HD Textures Load, as I can see. Disable/Enable Custom Textures in the middle of Game Emulation Unload/Load Successfully.. The Texture Models & Environment load 100% that is clearly for sure..! But for some unknowing reasons the controller pack remain Wii Version. I test the exact config/folders in older version Dolphin-x64 5.0-6392 everything loads fine, controller pack, etc. What's wrong with that new version? Here is the picture CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4000MHz OC | RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Dual 16GB 3200MHz OC | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 1710MHz

It's possible that uncompressed DDS textures are not working anymore in the latest versions, as the textures you mentioned that aren't working are ARGB8 and all the environments are BC7. I'll have to look into it myself later on when I get a chance.
Edit: This PR is the culprit (5.0-6744). It changed the second hash of paletted textures. https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/6543/files tex1_22x22_52d93048d9411d7d_e7ad5878be0e6ad3_8 is now... tex1_22x22_52d93048d9411d7d_ac0102ea5b03edcc_8 So I guess use 5.0-6741 for now? I don't know if this was intentional, a side effect, or whether or not it's going to get changed back. |
