Thanks for the hard work taking on a project like this!
I've been having some trouble getting everything to run smoothly for so long I've barely touched Xenoblade. I'm trying to get this HD texture pack plus toto's reshade to work, and it seems like there's always something in my way.
If I run xenosaga (with customs textures or reshade, or without), under D3D I get a lot of stuttering. Like the opening sequence stutters with just smoke on screen. The stuttering even affects the audio, which makes it especially painful to sit through. This is with the latest dev release, ishiiruka release, stable release etc. If I run in OpenGL, no stuttering (great!), but reshade doesn't work properly (boo!). Under OpenGL reshade seems to make everything darker, too dark to play.
So after googling around a bit, I discovered that older versions of dolphin seemed to handle Xenoblade just fine. 3.0-96 seems to run the game just fine with D3D. But since it's an older version the textures are in a different folder. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get the textures into the old format before realizing that I didn't really know what to do with mipmapped textures and the paletted textures.
So for now I'm just playing in OpenGL with the texture pack and no ReShade. If anyone has a tip on things to try to get anything working I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
