If you mean dumps, theres not really an up to date collection yet with all the new hash. I've been slowly compiling one as I've been going through my current playthrough. I also have a pack of armor/weapons I've been working on for a long time, some if it's older hashes and some are the new hashes.
If you tell me anything you're looking for in particular, I can probably dump it for you. Edit: The dump on the front page is pretty outdated. I can upload what I have so far + the improved armor/weapons dump pack. The "whatever" so far is just a giant folder of textures, the armor/weapons pack is sorted. However it's still incomplete, needs sharla and riki armors and a few player weapons. Edit2: Here's a quick update to the armor/weapons pack on the front page. A couple more character weapons fleshed out, still not finished with armor or weapons. There are save files in there to test textures in game, so make sure to read the readmes. Theres still a ton of the old hash IDs in there, so I'll handle conversion if anyone retextures anything with an old ID if they don't know how. I decided to not upload environment dumps anymore since they are easy enough to dump by loading an end game save file and quicktraveling. http://www.mediafire.com/download/536hg6...acters.rar Let me know if there is anything anyone needs dumped to possibly retexture and I'll get it for them. 03-26-2015, 01:49 PM

I'm not looking for anything in particular, just wanted to know what was already in progress in order to not repeat another texture. Thanks frozenwings!! I'll check it and start practicing

Awesome, good luck! Just make sure whatever you end up working at isn't already retextured and in the pack!
I do some digital painting and would like to take a look at the main characters faces/eyes. I notice many facial textures are in the folder "hair_faces" but still a very small size. Why is that and should I resize and paint those textures? I feel like I am missing something obvious here.

Many of the non-main story related characters are just batch sharpened and actually not retextured.
Since the dimensions of the textures are now in the filename, it's easy to compare and see which ones are retextures and which ones are just sharpened. For example, "tex1_128x128_0ab19028edf88b44_f38e5d5fa058f6ea_9" is a batch sharpened face and it's easy to tell because its dimensions are 128x128 and so is the first part of the filename. It would be safe to assume that this texture needs to be redone still. Edit: Obviously the extremely small filesize also gives it away, as you so noted. This brings up a good idea though, it may be worth separating the hair_faces folder into separate folders based on if it's a real retexture or just a quick sharpened textures. 03-28-2015, 03:32 PM
Alright that makes sense. I will definitely take a look into doing some re-texturing work in the near future here.

Awesome! I look forward to your work. It's been a while since we had anyone who was good with faces.
Also, make sure to download the newest (6.2) pack. The hair_faces folder previously had some textures that weren't converted to the new hash system. These were moved into the ~NotConverted folder in 6.2. More than likely, they are all duplicates dumped from different languages or different texture cache settings. These factors no longer matter with the new hash system so we will probably be removing them from the pack if they aren't converted when I finish my 100% clear. TLDR: You only want to be retexturing textures in the hair_faces folder in 6.2, which all have the new "tex1_128x128_" prefix (where 128x128 can be whatever dimensions the default texture uses). Do not retexture files that start with SX4E01. 03-29-2015, 12:43 AM
Hi guys
sorry for the delay, I was sick, and to make matters worse a familiar also was hospitalized, I am resuming the work, I stopped in Cliff corrections and i will continue. I have some textures, some 20 did not sent, that need corrections. I think I'll take a little more time. Thx 03-29-2015, 03:45 AM
No problem, Bruno. I hope everything is okay.
Take all the time you need. |
