guys i was using an old version of dolphin the 3.5 to be exactly, but with this awesome texture pack i upgrade to 4.0-5234 and all the the textures work great, the problem is with the sound, it sounds very bad, any help to fix plz, ty very much

The sound lags very badly if you aren't running at max FPS.
So if you have an older/weaker CPU and are getting video lag at all, you're probably going to get sound lag / skipping / crackling as well. Edit: Check to see if you're getting the same sound problems with custom textures off. 02-03-2015, 05:17 AM

It's pretty much the "fill" for every star texture in the game besides the nameplate daze. Like when you complete a quest and the stars kinda float up in the bottom right corner, or on the affinity screen you have x out of 5 stars as reputation with a city or area. There is also another set of textures that I believe is like a cutout of that star, because you never actually see the black background in game. If you look at the affinity folder, you'll see that there are many star cutouts (1-5 stars). I think the star with the black background is the fill for those, the star "cutouts" control the edge of the star, and this attached texture is the shading for that fill. If you notice in game with custom textures on, the stars that popup always have a shaded effect. The top is usually lighter than the bottom part of the star, which matches up with this retexture.
Here's that shading texture: tex1_16x16_34f536e2e5c44e38_2 It's found in Affinity in the Load folder. I've attached the dump in case it's of any use. Edit: Figured it all out below. I was looking at those comparison pictures and the texture that I didn't like at all was the "coin" one. Except that it doesn't resemble the original one, it is very big and looks out of place next to that "gift" one.

Yup, it's on our eternal to do list. Along with a few other retextures that we feel need to be redone. Echoes is currently reworking the skill trees, and we also want to redo the collectopaedia icons.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of other things on our to-do list that take priority at the moment. Bighead recently wrote a new script which we've mentioned a couple times, and we've discovered that there are around 300 textures that are using the incorrect scaling which can cause Dolphin to encounter bugs and/or use more resources in order to resize them properly. Most of them (around 200) can be just resized using Bighead's script (which he worked on all weekend to perfect), but there are around 100 that will have to be carefully adjusted, and a few that will have to be completely remade. I just remade four UI textures (boxes, arrows), one of which was actually really bad (barely HD and distorted horribly) so it needed to be redone anyway. So remaking an out of place coin is pretty low priority at the moment. Thanks for the feedback, stay patient and we will get to it eventually. Edit: @Echoes: It appears that there are two stars with black backgrounds, one is bright (the one you did) and one is darker (probably the affinity one). We're going to use your remake as a template to make the other one, if thats okay? Okay. Confirmed just now. The brighter star with the black background you redid is the stars effects that appears over heads, the darker star with the black background (I just made it using yours as a base :p) is for affinity. Dont know why? but my textures are only partially in-game. Strap textures are present ingame, so there shouldn't be any problems. But I don't know about others. I only know that controls and tutorials are not in-game.
