Any idea why only a portion of my HD textures are loaded/show up? Colony 9 looked awesome and all the smaller add-ons seem to work like the straploader and xbox controller buttons but the moment i walked into Tethra Cave it looked blurry as hell. And since then everything has looked bad besides Colony 9 and i'm at the Ether Mines right now. Would love an answer to this as soon as possible so i can enjoy the game on full glory throughout .

Some little details that I'd like to bring attention to now that this project is active once again:
There's apparently 2 models for the Mechonis, one that is textured to look rusty (the one you see for most of the game) and one that looks normal (the one you see in the intro and later cutscenes). Because of this, there's also 2 separate Mechonis Sword textures, which seem to be identical to each other. One of them has already been retextured, but the other has not. Here you can see both swords side to side: http://i.imgur.com/wrRPPIq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7ZLtdmt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LxTOcR7.jpg This is from a cutscene where there are actually 2 Mechonis on top of each other. This also happens in real hardware, but it's obviously easier to notice when running the game at a higher IR. My point is, this should be addressed by finding the other Mechonis Sword texture and replacing it with the same texture that's being used already, since apparently they're both the same (there might be some kind of difference but I don't really see it). Another case of a texture being reused is Fiora's unique weapon / Meyneth's Monado(s) / Final Boss' left weapon. Fiora's weapon has already been retextured, but not the texture for the Monado(s) as a single sword (which is used as soon as they are fused into one by Zanza). http://i.imgur.com/7NeHaKs.png http://i.imgur.com/H2C6oKy.png (The difference here isn't too notable, but it's definitely there) So perhaps the same thing with the Mechonis Sword can be applied here. Maybe the single sword version of the texture is different (as in, the way it's placed or something) and maybe it actually requires some editing, but they're also pretty much the same. Though this might leave the final boss looking pretty weird, considering that the only part of him that would be HD would be one of the swords, but I still think it should be done just to get it out of the way. ...And yet ANOTHER case of this (last one I swear) is Fiora's chest piece, which has been retextured for her other pieces of armor but not her base. Though this one DOES require extra work for retexturing her whole base armor. Just that a small piece of it is already done. http://i.imgur.com/StYc6IK.png http://i.imgur.com/hpewJVw.png http://i.imgur.com/ArW9Ki0.png http://i.imgur.com/b7n4VmW.png 06-26-2016, 07:38 AM
How do you install the Ishiiruka Material patch?
I loaded the ISO in wiiscruber, then imported the file. I tried using the file both as is and with the "scrub" option, but both give me "Invalid Write" and "The Disc Could Not Be Read" errors 06-26-2016, 10:08 AM

Heres my texturepack so far, fills in the gaps for lots of stuff until Satori Marsh
Install over the original texture packs https://www.mediafire.com/?i79z37jj90kgvwl Just a warning - these still need mip maps so when you walk farther away they'll look grainy Screenshots of some of it can be found on the last few previous forum pages |
