Hello,
I'm new to the boards and new to Dolphin emulation. I've browsed around a bit and have followed the performance guide to try and run LoZ Wind Waker at optimal settings and I was wondering if anyone could help out a bit. Here are my specs:
OS: Vista 32-bit
Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU @ 2.33GHz
Memory: 2.00 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT
Current Dolphin version: 3.0-415-dirty
So could anyone tell me if my computer is even capable of running Wind Waker at 100%? I do well with inside buildings for the most part but so far on Outset Island I get quite a bit of lag -- I usually run around 70%-80% on the island.
I've tried limiting the FPS, I'm running in 1x native, no AA, and 1x anisotropic, disabled fog, and HLE audio. I've heard some things about overclocking the computer to get that little bit of boost to run smoothly but to be honest it's an unfamiliar concept and I'm sort of hesitant since I know I could permanently damage my computer.
Sorry for the long post and thanks for all your help in advance.
