i'm using cleanrip version 1.0.5, is this the newest version? Right now i'm trying to rip the Wii disc in chunks of 2GB as opposed to the entire thing at one time, so maybe this will help circumvent that bug. So far I'm at around 75% done... the first 2 times it stopped around 45%. So far, so good...
How would I combine multiple iso files into one? 09-22-2012, 02:43 AM
can someone please explain how to combine 4 iso files? I've been googleing and trying various apps for hours...

You can rip the game in one part, so you don't have to combine the iso parts. Just set the "chunk size" to "MAX".

I did that, but two times Clean rip just failed on me. Xenoblade is a dual layered disc, so I should set that to "yes," right? or should I not do that?
do you recommend I just keep trying with Cleanrip and SuperDump? I'm using Cleanrip 1.0.5, so I believe I have the latest version...it's just frustrating because Superdump 1.3 won't even load, and Cleanrip just quits about halfway through.

CleanRip is better than SuperDump. With SuperDump, I have had random crashes (exception DSI occurred)
As I suspected, I just got my 3rd write error at exactly 50%, and it just quit on me. This is so annoying. My Wii is 4.3U, and I'm using Cleanrip 1.0.5. Am I doing something wrong or is there anything I can do to get past this?
I just tried Cleanrip 1.4, and that also stopped at around 50%. I guess maybe I'll just have to buy a supported drive? Is there nothing I can do? 09-22-2012, 04:14 AM
I use CFG loader to rip ISOs. It's can be tricky to get working, though, so I'm not going to go through all the steps of setting it up. If you want to try it, search Google for a tutorial.
