So I'm having this kind of odd problem with the (patched) PAL version of Xenoblade.
The game works just fine in Dolphin r7714M with the right settings, there's no persistent audio cracks/chops either and the speed varies from 90-100%.
But here's the problem - I can play the game for a bit before the textures starts jumping around and pretty much the entire game "jumps" as if the frames are uneven and somehow causes this corruption which freezes the game, it's kind of hard to explain.
It will happen within an hour or several hours of play, this doesn't seem to have anything to do with the sound or any other settings after much testing, once it starts crapping out it's going to freeze and keep on freezing until I restart my computer.
It's also worth to mention that textures "pop" and sometimes during a freeze I will see texture artifacts.
After a reboot the game will work fine again for a bit until the issues listed above starts happening again.
So, since a reboot DOES fix it, if only temporarily, I can only assume it either has to do with my RAM (for some reason? I've never had this problem with any other game on this emulator or other emulators), cache from Dolphin being cleared? or maybe the 30 FPS patch somehow causes this glitch for me?
Thoughts? Anyone with a similar experience? It's really frustrating to have an otherwise flawless experience with this game on Dolphin being destroyed by something that seems to be caused by overloaded memory/cache.
I've tried several builds of Dolphin and several settings, the freeze keeps happening no matter what.
I use r7714M and it works just fine. And i have just a Amd dual core, I get 30fps all the time no wrong textures no errors, and NO SOUND ISSUES.Played 5 hours non-stop.BLISSS!!!!!
