I'm playing this game but in some wide zones, the game slowdowns a few FPS and the whole speed of the game is lowered. I read many post of the forum and configure the emu but it didn't solved it. I tried to lower the resolution, use the lowest internal resolution but it useless, it doesn't matter if a used 1280x720 with a lower internal res or 1920x1080 with a 2x, using DX11 or DX9... I's the same result.
My computer is an AMD Quad core Overclocked to 3,4, 8Gb Ram, ATI 6870, the Dolphin version I use is 3.0-427 Thanks and sorry for my English 04-05-2012, 07:18 PM
Well, your GPU should be able to handle an IR of 3x easily. So the problem is defintely your CPU - You can try to overclock it even more. And you can also try a newer version of Dolphin, 3.0-427 ist a little bit outdated.

Fill out your profile field correctly, i'm just going to assume you're using a phenom x4

Yes it's a Phenom X4 Black edition 940. With this combination it a problem of CPU? =/ I think that the Dolphin emulator doesn't use all the cores properly, in the task manager I assigned only two cores, and the game doesn't slowdown, it's like the emu only uses half of the CPU, can be that? It's not a complaint, eh?? With the emu I can play WII games without making my eyes bleeding xDD

Dolphin is only a dual core program (unless you use LLE on thread). It will never use all of a Quad core CPU.

Just I had tried to use the lower res, 640x480, and works with the same speed as if it's running in 720 =/ How annoying. Lucky me that the slowdowns only happens in some areas, besides that I can play Zelda correctly =) I will try to use a newer version of Dolphin to see if it0s going better.

If we've told you your CPU is the bottleneck then you can put the IR up until the GPU starts to bottleneck without losing speed. All you can do is overclock, enable some things which will speed it up by dropping the CPU's load, not the GPU, or to use a version/build which gives you more speed.
