1. Sound is near perfect. All sound effects play properly, and if there are any missing, you will not notice it, I certainly didn't notice anything missing. I use Xaudio2 for almost all my games, which seems to generally perform better than Dsound.
Occasionally BGM will get scrambled and play two tracks at once out of sync. This can be fixed by entering a new area or restarting Dolphin.
2. Your ability to control this game directly corresponds to the quality and position of your Bluetooth device. When I first tried to play this game, I was using a generic adapter I got on Amazon for 3 dollars. Control was laggy and unresponsive, the first boss battle was near impossible to beat, and Motion+ appeared to be tracking at half capacity.
I went to a local electronics store and bought a brand name Bluetooth device for around 20 dollars. I plugged it into my front USB slot which is right next to me, instead of back behind the computer.
Control is almost exactly how it is on the Wii, and Motion+ never de-syncs.
3. Sometimes when you start the game, the Wii remote won't be detected, just keep restarting the game until it's detected, it's completely random, just keep trying until it works, it usually doesn't take more than 5 tries.
4. Dolphin's bloom offest problem causes certain cutscenes to have a minor double image effect, most noticeably in the Sealed Temple. Nothing can be done about this.
5. The game can slow down after extended play, for no apparent reason. Dolphin must be restarted to fix the issue. I have since switched from r7719 to the newer 3.0 revisions and slightly overclocked my CPU. The slowdown no longer occurs.
Anyone who says that the game plays perfect is either exaggerating or doesn't care about the minor problems I listed above. But the game is perfectly playable on Dolphin and is an almost exact representation of how it plays on the Wii, with the bonus of high resolution graphics.
Cool. Could I bother you to post all of your exact settings? You have almost the exact same setup as me, with a different motherboard. Any particular guides for overclocking? And did you buy a cooler for the i5 to overclock it?
Also, I got a Rocketfish bluetooth adapter because it was in the Bluetooth whitelist/blacklist thread. Hoping it works well for me D:
