I know my computer aint beast, but I was able to run wind waker and twilight princess quite easily. Figured this would be enough to get constant 30fps, seems like a very light game.
And it's really weird that I can use 3x internal res, 1080p 8AA 16FA - or go lowest resolution, 1x internal res, 0 AA and 0 FA and I get exactly same FPS.
I am running a Phenom 965 OC'ed to 3.8, and although I get decent performance on most Wiii games, I really doubt you will get mediocre performance from an x3. Maybe if you overclock the piss out of it, you could run the game with only minor lag.

There is nothing to check. Either you have a CPU that can run it, or you cant. If you are running an i5 or better, or an AMD with at least 3 cores and a clock speed > 3.4ghz, you can probably run it. I am also confused about the question, why would you buy the game to begin with if you do not have a Wiimote or sensor bar? If you buy the game and it is too slow on your PC, run it on the console. A win-win situation if there ever was one.

Yes. After playing the game some, I realize most of the pointing stuff seems to be calculated via motion+ sensors. However, the sensor bar is required to recalibrate the mote. Because it doesn't seem to be utilized all that much in this game, you could easily use the tv-remote or candle trick to get you by. All in all though, a sensor bar is more convenient and there are so many different options including fabricating one, or modifying a store bought one so that it uses usb power instead of batteries.

I don't get why the legit word is between quotes. I've explicity said in the OP that the screenshots are from a NeoGAF user and that I had to travel and thus, wasn't able to took some from myself. Anyway, I'll remove them due to all the chit chat and post some "real" shots from my machine once I get back, today or tomorrow.
Also, I'll update the OP with all the info from the users until now.
Hey, sorry if I offended. I have just been waiting to hear back from you on this matter. I used the word legit in quotations, not to insinuate a lack of integrity on your part, but rather to express my growing doubt about their validity. After trying multiple revisions, and many different settings, I cannot get my game to look like that. Therefore, I can only assume they are possibly from a custom dolphin build that includes a hack for the specific purpose of removing the effect, or maybe from a different version of the game altogether. In any case, it doesn't make sense to post another user's screenshots that you cant elaborate on or even discuss how they were created.
