okay I finally got it to work almost properly with dolphin SVN R 5091, running on a constant 50 fps.
so my next question is, where can I find and use TAS plugins, like savestates and slowdown ? =) also, is there a tool to unlock everything instantly ? ^Good question. After finding out that custom characters had been made for this game I decided to see if this would work on Dolphin. Technically it should, but...
First you need to download whatever you want to implement. Lots of characters on this page, (I went with Zero from Mega Man). http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=245842 Then you need an SD card to put it in. Dolphin should have automatically created a file in your main Dolphin folder called "sd.raw". Open it with a program called "WinImage" (Google = Download) and create this string of folders (If you also went with Zero): SD Card:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\fighter\link "Inject" the four files into that directory. Save. Now comes the tricky part - You need to put an AR code in the game for this to work. It's a long one too, I probably couldn't fit it into this post, so you can find it in the description for this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk5cpYyRoLo So I put it into the emulator, activated it, and... It crashed. Sadly, this code only works on the NTSC version of the game, and living in Europe I bought the PAL version. It might work, but there's no way for me to find out, so if any of you have the NTSC version and feel like trying it out you can use this guide. Do it for science! |
