The Sandy Bridge CPUs are very impressive, no doubt about it.
I was curious about your performance being connected to the new revision so I just tried the specific one you did and apparently the game is almost playable now. I had average 30FPS (sometimes up to 50) which is a bit low but the problem is the game speed, it's not 100% and I don't know why. I didn't crash nor produce any graphical artifacts.
A question, why do you use safe instead of normal/fast as accurate texture? I used fast and I left out both CPU access and format changes. What's the GPU usage with 9xSSAA? At 1080p and no AA I push up to 80%.

It's like an aftereffect of graphical objects, it's irritating.
