So, is there any settings combination that fixes the occasional black cutscenes?
Hey, anyone got a good idea about how to set up controller settings for a Wii Classic Controller with Dolphin? I can access the game but it doesn't recognize any movement, just the single buttons.
What is this Dolphin 2.0 everyone speaks of? I use r6117 currently. How are you suppose to switch between FPS and normal mode when you don't have a Wii mote? Apparently when I click on the desktop (I play in window mode during debugging) it switches back to normal in the training room but if I mark the dolphin emulator it switches to FPS and I can't move on. Oh and I can't load with save states if I quit the emulator or gets an error. The game will freeze

So I have an idea. How about everyone who say they can play at full speed post their complete settings. Include REV (64bit/32bit), Display settings (Res,Windowed/fullscreen, etc.), dolphin system settings, graphic and sound settings, and their system specs (windows version and hardware). Also say which areas including cutscenes gave you slow downs and their average FPS.
StripTheSoul I have mostly the same system specs as you and the game was very heavy on the lag including sound and cutscenes. didnt have a lot of time to mess with it though.

As I said already, everything fullspeed, only short dips when something new gets loaded into the shader cache (I guess), other than that sound, music, videos, graphics, everything perfect except for the dark cutscenes. (But how I said, I haven't played any further than first corridors on after landing yet).
My specs are in my sig. I tried it with two or three different revs with same result, 64bit, the ones from mamario's page (url in my sig) in the last week, I guess any recent rev should be cool. Settings: pretty much everything at default, dual core on, idle skipping on, enable OpenCL, JIT Recompiler, Lock threads to core, Framelimit @ auto. Using plugins: DX9, HLE, (old) wiimote plugin. HLE settings: no audio throttle, the other two options ticked. DX9 settings: resolution: 1920x1080 in fullscreen, EFB scale: auto (fractional), everything else unticked or auto. Enhancements: everything ticked. Advanced: Disable fog ticked, EFB copy to Texture (important for speed ), overlay fps counter (well, you don't need this one). And that's it, as I said, mostly default.

The analog sticks and shoulder buttons suddenly stopped working in GlovePIE if I put them all to one PPJoy controller, so you'll need to change the configuration, or add a third PPJoy controller. A=Jump B=Fire R=Concentration X=Morph Ball D-pad=Move Left Analog Stick = Move IR Pointer L=Go into first person. When in first person: A=Look Around X=Fire Works well for me. Just beat the game using only Dolphin. I had no problems except for the occasional black cutscene. |
