Weird graphics, DirectX9

When I run games (I've tried Mario Kart Double Dash, LoZ TP "GC") on one of the later revisions of Dolphin, using the DirectX9-plugin gives some weird graphics, just take a look at the picture in the link. When I run it in Open GL however it looks right but runs slower. I have an ancient graphics-card, the ATI Radeon x1900, but it is DirectX9 compatible. I do not have the same problems on my laptop.

In MK it looks like this:

In Zelda the characters have way to much bloom on.

So I'm of course wondering if there is a way to fix this problem, or if I'm just gonna have to go with OpenGL.

PS: My DirectX and Graphicscard-driver is up to date.

Try enabling Safe Texture Cache in the graphics plugin. Looks similar to some of the problems I've seen in other games which safe texture cache solved nicely.

Thanks for the reply, but no it didn't work, I also tried various other settings, nothing works. I'm guessing I'll just have to stick with openGL.

With which revision did this occur first and is it fixed in more recent revs?
Does it help if you disable "emulate format changes" in the video config?

Thanks, disableing it fixed both games. Big Grin Can't remember what build I first noticed it on, but according to my list of latest downloads, r6678 had it, as did r6723 and my current build is r6728 which also has it. Will try out the latest one as soon as it's done compiling. I got my first revision of dolphin for my desktop late december, around 15-20 I think, incase that helps. (sorry for the late reply, I'm usually quick on these kind of things...)
just tried r6777, it has the same "problem" aswell.
