I type a few words/sentences on one topic which triggers me to be like "Oh yeah I want to talk about this so I better write it down before I forget. Once done I go back to writing my previous topic, and during this I will feel like I need to rephrase what I just finished. And then I think of another topic I need to write down before I forget. This cycle continues for quite some time. "It's madness, I tell you, madness!" As for the Rec.2020 specification, we need a new standard for current technology. A replacement for Rec.709 has been in the works since before HDTVs became common in households. Since I don't have a display that could make use of this, I've not been following the status of it over the years. As far as I know from my quick glance at AVSforum, there is no replacement yet, but Rec.2020 seems to be the most likely candidate. It really is needed though. But even when any of the candidates become "official", it won't matter until the movie industry actually starts using this. This (movie industry) is the primary reason why we have no successor yet. It will be unbelievably costly to replace necessary hardware, software, licensing fees and "classes" so everyone learns about how it works and how to make it practical. Another reason is the install base of compatible displays and media players at the consumer level. I'm sure you know someone who can't tell the difference between 720i/720p/1080i/1080p/4k, or more than 30fps. People with this point of view are unfortunately the majority, and they unknowingly control how often we get access to "new" technology (Like that new car you bought. It's really from years ago). I'd like to see HDR get used unlike Deep Color (05-25-2016, 02:02 PM)rlaugh0095 Wrote: Lol like Rick and Morty and how Rick and a universe powering his car, which had a universe powering that universe. To save space on the thread I'll refrain from quoting. XD
Anyway, HDR has already reached bluray format, and the gtx 1080 so I think it will one day be a standard. It sucks for us early 4k adopters, because we'll have to re upgrade to a display that supports it. -_- I'd give it 3-5 years for 4k HDR to become common place. Yeah people like that are a pain. People like that made me kind of nervous upgrading to 4k. Thankfully, the difference is amazing and not non existing as others have made it out to be. The impact on how sharp small details look such as grass, hair, skin pores, rock grains, have wowed me. The clarity is almost window like, even at only 4 ft away. 05-26-2016, 12:44 PM
is there any videos of people using bump/tesselation/phong on games? I'd really like to see what fully tuned game looks like

Three questions: Which crimson drivers version are you using? Are you properly upgrading your drivers using DDU? Are you using a clean install of the latest Ishiiruka?? In all honesty I've yet to find a DX12 crash using the latest Ishiiruka, then again, I always use the same three or four games at most. 05-26-2016, 08:25 PM

It started when I wrote the game Shift + F1 and then turned off the emulator, turned again and the game has loaded. F1 but I do not know what to do with it, then it all began to go wrong, and now, even as I will remove the options that the game is not working, recording or not, all the time error in DX12 sometimes green background color, and even the old versions of DX12 no longer work I already do not know what it could be, maybe the windows 10 system saves to somehow register windows, I do not know.
